International Management Double Degree

The International Management Double Degree enables you to gain two degrees at once – one here in Reutlingen and one at a partner university abroad. Degrees can be taken in the following combinations: German-American, German-Brazilian, German-Chinese, German-English, German-French, German-Irish, German-Italian, German-Mexican, German-Netherlands, German-Polish and German-Spanish.

Internationales Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen - Operations (International Industrial Engineering - Operations)

On Internationales Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen – Operations you will learn about the fundamental concepts of business administration and engineering. Special focuses are: the planning and optimisation of production processes at the interface of technology and business administration, as well as relevant international and intercultural aspects and the integration of economic and engineering science concepts in various regions of the world.

The ESB Business School also offers a degree programme specialising in production as well as sustainable production and business development, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen – Sustainable Production and Business (SPB).

Mechanical engineering

The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers a two-stage, internationally orientated Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Science degree programme. Great emphasis is placed on a broad foundation, and specialisation is largely avoided.

The joint foundation course in the Bachelor's degree programmes in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics and Industrial Engineering - International Project Engineering makes it easy to switch between these degree programmes after the second semester.

Mechanical Engineering Master

The Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, including the Master's thesis, leads to the internationally recognised degree of "Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering" in just three semesters. The programme teaches state-of-the-art, selected course content from all areas of general mechanical engineering. New lectures such as operational stability or digital factory as well as internships, for example in the CAQ laboratory, guarantee an engineering education at a high professional level. Some of the lectures are held in English.

Mechatronics

The Mechatronics degree programme prepares interested students for exciting and future-oriented tasks in the field of technical computer applications. Students can choose between specialising in microelectronics or automation.

Operations ManagementOperations Management will teach you to combine engineering skills with management expertise, and how to work independently in a team on complex production, logistics and supply chain management projects – together with companies or research institutes.

Power and microelectronics

The Power and Microelectronics course focuses on power electronics, analogue circuits, digital systems and design tools. As graduates acquire in-depth knowledge of electronic components, they are particularly well qualified to subsequently develop components as well as the circuits and systems based on them in industry.

Textile Chain Research 

Graduates with Bachelor's degrees in Textile Technology/Textile Management and International Fashion Retail can enter the Master's degree course in Textile Chain Research directly afterwards. This degree course focuses primarily on systematically applying previously acquired knowledge to specific problems. Students must work on problems within a range of different projects and learn to familiarise themselves methodically and systematically with new fields of knowledge. Two areas of specialisation are available: Textile Technology/Technical Textiles and Textile Management & Retail Research.

The main objective of the Transportation Interior Design degree course is to create and design vehicle interiors. The Master's programme leads to a Master of Engineering - Environmental Protection in four semesters. It teaches environmental protection skills and the particularly cross-sectional nature of the subject area at the same time demonstrates. The universities of Reutlingen, Esslingen, Stuttgart, and Nürtingen-Geislingen cooperate on the programme. They train students for a career in municipal, technical, or biological-ecological environmental protection.
