The "Bundestag" elections are on 23 February!

In the Bundestag elections, citizens vote to elect the members of the German Federal Parliament. You can  vote if you have German citizenship, are over 18 years old and have lived in Germany for at least three months. With the first part of your vote, you elect a person from your constituency; the second part determines how many members of each party will sit in the Bundestag.

Use your right to vote! Voting is the key part of a democracy and is a key tool to show which issues are important to you. If you do not yet know who to vote for, we recommend using the Wahl-O-Mat from the Federal Agency for Civic Education to get an overview. Using the Wahl-O-Mat, you can compare your opinions with the official positions of the parties. You can also get more information and talk to candidates directly at the parties or their information stands, e.g. on Saturdays during the weekly market in Reutlingen.
