Join the Service Desk team!
The Service Desk in the entrance to the Learning Centre is the first point-of-contact for all questions about the media and services of the library and the computer centre.
We are looking for students to help us out, starting in the winter semester (1st September 2024 - 28th February 2024). We are especially looking for help on Saturdays from 10am - 4pm, with the possibility to also/alternatively work weekdays 8am - 1pm or 1pm - 6pm.
If you are interested, send an e-mail to juergen.dippell@reutlingen-university.de that includes a short application and your CV – both in German – that include your subject of study, semester number, whether you are planning on taking an exchange semester or starting an internship soon, your IT skills and the amount of hours that you would like to work (up to 25 hours a month). Your tasks:
- Answering questions about our services (in person, by e-mail, on the phone)
- Responding or categorising requests in our internal ticket system
- Monitoring that rules are adhered to in the Learning Centre
- Supporting the Learning Centre colleagues with any tasks that may come up
About you:
- Very good German knowledge (C1+)
- Strong team skills
- Service-oriented
- IT knowledge
- Friendly, reliable, conscientious and discrete
Salary:
13.25 € / hour
Requirements:
- enrolled student at Reutlingen University
- EU-citizen or in possession of a work permit
- “Lohnsteuerkarte” or certificate from the tax office
