200 euros one-off payment for students

Apply for the one-off payment now!

Due to the increased energy costs, students will be able to apply for a flat-rate energy allowance of 200 euros if they:

  • were enrolled on 01.12.2022 and
  • had their usual place of residence or their 1st place of residence in the Federal Republic of Germany at that time.

Important information on how to apply is provided by the online portal EinmalZahlung200.

The application for payment will only be possible nationwide from mid-March for all those entitled to apply. However, as a selected university, Reutlingen University is participating in the pilot phase for earlier payment, meaning you can already apply for your one-off payment now.

For this you will need:

  • an access code from the university
  • a BundID account as secure proof of your identity.

You will receive the access code directly after logging into your CampusPoRTal.

You can set up the BundID account using an electronic ID (electronic identity card, electronic residence permit, electronic proof of identity of a member state of the European Union or an ELSTER certificate). The One-Time Payment200 portal provides detailed information for eligible applicants on how to first register for a BundID account.

You can register for the BundID account here.

Additional important information:

The one-off payment of 200 euros is tax-free and is not offset against other social benefits.

You are still entitled to the one-off payment even if you already received an energy allowance as an employee in September 2022.

Likewise, even if you have recently been paid other lump sums as a BAföG recipient, you are still entitled to the one-off payment.

If you have any further questions, please contact the Support for Applicants.

If you no longer have access to CampusPoRTal, please contact the StudienServiceCenter either in person or by e-mail to obtain your access code.

Does your student e-mail address still work?

Reutlingen University keeps students informed via email.

Important: Unfortunately, students occasionally do not maintain their mailboxes and then their storage space is no longer sufficient to receive new emails. Therefore, students should regularly check whether the receipt of e-mails is still possible.
