As part of "get your career staRTed," we offer our mentoring program for international students. The aim of the program is to connect mentees with mentors who can provide insights on topics related to entering the job market and professional life in Germany, as well as intercultural, professional, and other questions.
Mentoring program
Scope
At least three meetings per semester are planned.
- Introductory meeting (online or in person) to clarify expectations
- Visit to the mentor's workplace (if possible)
- Final conversation (online or in person) to discuss next steps
At the end of the semester, we invite all pairs to a get-together at Reutlingen University. This could also take place at one of the participating companies.
Topics
All topics are generally possible. The focus is on questions related to applications, entering the job market, daily professional life in Germany, and clarifying career goals.
Matching
If you are interested in the program, please fill out the respective registration form with questions for mentees as well as for mentors. Your responses will help us create suitable tandem pairs.
