Get ready to study! To help you make the transition from school or work to university, the university has introduced the team "suppoRT your studies!" with various offers.

staRT-weeks

Two weeks prior to the start of the semester, Reutlingen University offers preparatory staRT weeks for (international) students. The programme includes maths, physics and chemistry courses, events on getting started at university, tips and tricks on studying schedules, social events to help you get to know each other, intercultural offers and language courses.

Educational workshops

Maths & Physics workshop

Do you have questions or unresolved problems in maths and physics? Come to our open office hours every Mon, Wed, Thu, from 12:30-14:30 in the Learning Centre lounge. Our tutors help you with calculations and finding sample solutions. Just drop by or make an appointment.

Chemistry workshop

During the semester, the Chemistry Workshop is open Wednesdays from 15:30-16:30 in the lounge of the Learning Centre. Our tutors will help clarify any questions with you in-person, or you can also meet online.

Add some spice to your studies! The studierenplus programme at Reutlingen University gives students the chance to acquire interdisciplinary skills in numerous courses, workshops and seminars. Registration for the courses takes place on the RELAX learning platform and opens at the start of lectures.

Mint Factory

Do you want to get fit for your studies in maths or physics or prepare for an exam? In the mint factory, you can quickly find exercises, video tutorials or VisuApps on a specific basic topic and work on them directly without logging in. The service is free of charge and can be used in the browser on all end devices.

"Hart & Trocken"

“Hart & Trocken” is an interactive teaching and learning platform with videos and interactive content on maths, statistics, data science and computer science. The platform is supervised by Volker Reichenberger and Dirk Schieborn, professors for tough and dry subjects at ESB Business School.

MathMatics App

A large pool of exercises with detailed explanation helps you practise the maths and physics content covered in the first two semesters. The app can be downloaded from Google Play or the App Store and is free of charge for Reutlingen University students.

Preliminary online course

Here you will find the most important information on all maths and physics topics in a nutshell, as well as many online exercises. Your results will be returned to you immediately. In addition, you can take a placement test to learn about the prerequisites for entering your degree programme.
