During the semester, the chemistry workshop always takes place on Wednesdays from 15:30-16:30 in the lounge of the Learning Centre. Our tutors will clarify any open questions together with you. The subjects "Mathematics" or "Quantitative Methods" are part of nearly all of our Bachelor's degree programmes in the first semester. Many people find it difficult to start their studies in these areas, as the maths content covered in school is a prerequisite for studying and there is often hardly any time to repeat the material during the semester. Reutlingen University therefore offers various refresher courses:
| Pre-courses | Even before the semester begins, you can brush up on your maths skills with the help of the online preparatory course including a placement test or in the maths pre-courses during the staRT-weeks. |
| Tutorials during the semester | Information about tutorials is provided by the instructors of the respective lectures at the beginning of the semester. |
| Maths workshop | The Maths study workshop is open this semester. Open office hours for all maths-related questions during the semester take place every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30-14:30 in the lounge of the Learning Centre. In addition, there is the possibility to make an online appointment in RELAX. Please send us your questions and specific tasks in advance. Even before the semester starts, you can brush up on your physics knowledge with the help of our online services or in the physics pre-courses of the staRT-weeks. If you have questions or problems concerning physics during the semester, our open physics consultation hour will help you. This takes place every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday during the semester between 12:30-14:30 in the lounge of the Learning Centre. Or make an individual appointment via RELAX in the online physics workshop. In this case, please send us your questions and specific tasks (e.g. as a screenshot) in advance. Our tutors will then work through the sample solution with you.

The writing workshop is an informal consultation hour for all students at the university with questions about academic writing. Whether it's a Bachelor's or Master's thesis, a seminar paper, a letter of application or an internship report, you will receive individual advice and feedback on your texts in German or English. Come by and get your writing project moving! During the semester, the writing workshop takes place every Tuesday from 13:00-14:30 in the lounge of the Learning Centre or online.
