Back to the future – effortlessly find relevant literature using citation metrics

Reutlingen University Library licenses the multidisciplinary citation database Web of Science Core Collection for university members. Citation databases evaluate the bibliographies and references of scientific journal articles and use them to create frequency metrics.

In a sense, Web of Science is a time machine – instead of just showing you the literature cited in an article, Web of Science also shows you the more recent publications that cite the document at hand. In the last video of our series about the Web of Science, we'll show you how to use this function.
