If you are researching and want to publish your results, or even if you’ve been publishing papers for a while, an ORCID ID offers many advantages. With an ORCID profile, you are uniquely identifiable as the author of your papers, regardless of whether someone has the same name as you or if you’ve changed your name during your career. With the ORCID profile, you can also present all of your publications in one place and document your affiliations.
